Update – June 16, 2025
There have been a few questions and changes to our details for tomorrow, so please read the following information carefully.
At 5:30 AM, we will be meeting in the New College Quad for the Sunrise Ceremony. The entrance to the quad is at 20 Willcocks Street, and it is the outdoor space in the middle of the building. We have placed signs pointing to the entrance on the way to the Quad. If you need a landmark for Google Maps, it is the D.G. Ivey Library.
For the pick up to go to our site for Day on the Land, we will be meeting again at 20 Willcocks Street for pick up at 7:30 AM. We will leave at 8:00 AM sharp, so please do not be late. If you miss the buses, you will be responsible for finding your own way to the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (1265 Military Trail). This campus is about 50 minutes by car from downtown Toronto.
When you arrive to board the bus, you will be given your conference program, nametag and other materials. We have separated everyone alphabetically onto buses, so please check on the attached spreadsheet which bus you have been assigned to, and who your bus captain is. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate alternative modes of transportation after the buses leave at 8:00 AM, so please do not be late.
For participants who may wish to drive to the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, the address is 1265 Military Trail, Scarborough, ON M1C 1A4. There are various paid parking lots on campus. IILF will not reimburse paid parking, so please bear that in mind if you plan to drive. Once you are on campus, we will primarily be in the HW Amphitheatre (primary venue) or The Meeting Place (rainy day location). We will arrive at the UTSC Bus Loop and we will head over to the HW Amphitheatre together. Please see the map below for the route.
